In this research cobalt ferrite/carbon nanotubes nanocomposite (with 10 wt.% CNT content) preparation with the use of sol-gel hydrothermal and mechanical mixing was investigated. Phase identification, microstructure investigation and phase dispersion and magnetic properties of the prepared nanocomposite were investigated with X-ray diffraction, Field emission electron microscope and vibration sample magnetometer. XRD results showed cobalt ferrite is the main phase and FESEM micrograph shows suitable two-phase dispersion in all samples. VSM results showed in-situ preparation nanocomposite with use of sol-gel hydrothermal method, increased 39 % of saturation magnetization of nanocomposite.
