Abstract:   (185 Views)
In this paper, the effect of the type of additive of Carburettes P and Carbon Black on the shock resistance of alumina graphite refractories has been investigated. For this purpose, a mixture with different types of additives was produced using isostatic pressing and tested under simulated conditions using these types of refractories. The results obtained from the physical, mechanical and thermal properties showed the thermal shock resistance of the part produced using Carburetted P AC-1CP under similar conditions was higher than that of other samples. The results obtained from the microscopic images also showed the uniformity of the structure in this composition.
